Wifi not connecting to fluidnc grbl 4.0.2

Hi, I have fluidnc set up on a mpcnc cnc machine and want to add in my laser head. I did the auto search through USB and Lightburn found GRBL-M3, however, this doesn’t give an option for a wifi connection. I then manually set up a ‘GRBL’ machine with the wifi address of the cnc and, while I now don’t get all the error messages I previously got with the GRBL-M3 device, Lightburn is now sitting unresponsive with a ‘waiting for connection…..’ message in the console window.

Can anyone help me to move on please? Thank you…..

Fluidnc GRBL 4.0.2. and Lightburn 2.1.01 on Macbook Pro.

I meant to say that fluidnc webUI connects immediately and drives the machine correctly and that I have set up the laser in the fluidnc config yaml.

You need to change the Ports after setup. During setup you only set the IP, but you need to open device settings afterward and change the port to 8080 instead of 21 (or whatever it is).

Thank you, I’ll try that.

I got in eventually on GRBL, I had to change the port to 23.. Thanks
