Will Lightburn work on cnc router. I see it has a Z axis in the device settings.

You can use LightBurn to control a CNC router with a laser head, yes. Some folks have run CNC plasma cutters or pen plotters by using the Custom GCode settings in LightBurn. For proper CNC Router CAM, you’ll be pleased to know that our forthcoming software MillMage will handle that task.

Good question. I was trying to figure out if I could export gcode for use in UGS.
GCode sender is just a text pump. Lightburn is 2D and MillMage is 2.5D.
Well let’s be fair, UGS does have a few nifty features that make it conducive to CNC motion control while setting up and running (text pumping) a gcode job. 
To be more fair, it is pumping GCode programs and GCode text commands to the controller. In other words, it is a pass-thru software. Cannot design or edit a part program. “Sender” in the name is the clue.
