Hi, I have an old laptop windows 7 that i use with my laser cutter and it works fine, but i want to use a new laptop window 10 but it will not connect to the laser cutter. I tried it with rd works and it will not connect either. Can anyone help fix this?
From your mention of RD works I’m assuming you have a ruida control. How are you trying to connect to the laser? Are you using ethernet or USB?
You might need to install a driver. If you re-run the LightBurn installer, there’s a checkbox for the FTDI driver we use for Ruida and TopWisdom. Re-run the installer, and check that box this time. You only need to do it once.
