In April, Windows began blocking the upgrade for EzCad2. I need to upgrade the driver so I can import the COR file for my fiber laser.
Look for a change in the Windows firewall or security setting.
On April 14, 2026, the software giant made available the “2026-04 Security Update (KB5083769) (Build 26200.8246)” for Windows 11 with new features, improvements, and security fixes. However, Microsoft also introduced a change that adds known “vulnerable kernel drivers” to the driver blocklist to improve system security.
If you’re using Lightburn you can import the .cor file on it’s own and don’t need the EZCad drivers, that don’t work with Lightburn, as far as I know.
