Ok cool. I did the test and it didn’t work
Try going to System Properties > Advanced > Performance Settings, and make sure the “Let Windows choose what’s best for my computer option” box is checked.
Did you manually create the LightBurn file association? If so then yes, worth a shot. Again, it may require cleaning up any the manual association. Don’t know how straightforward that is. But hopefully reinstall full reinstates all necessary registry settings.
I will u instal LB this evening and reinstall it
I will try this tonight before I uninstall and reinstall LB
That’s done and did not fix my issue
Uninstalled and reinstalled and it still is not fixed
You never actually answered this. Did you actually do this? Would like to take this avenue off the table if you hadn’t. Otherwise more to explore here.
Can you confirm how you tested this? Are you using the preview pane in Explorer?
Please also trying doing a search for .lbrn and .lbrn2 files in explorer. Some are finding that this allows the thumbnails to be visible.
Manually create the association? Don’t understand but all I do is create the file in LB and then save as and name it
I did search for lbrn and lbrn2 files and am not seeing any previews still
Yes but I didn’t have to in the past because the file by default would appear as a preview rather than actually having to click on something just to see a preview.
Dragon icon either way
