Everything was fine yesterday. Last night a windows update ran and now Lightburn has forgotten all about the laser. It is making me go through set-up again. It might not be due to the update, but could be that I had to reboot. It had been a while since I had rebooted. Is there any way to get my settings back or do I have to start from scratch? TIA.
There’s a good chance that a preferences file is stashed away on your computer.
Have a look for a file with lbprefs in the name. You can do a brute-force search for lbprefs. You’ll likely find several of them. Select one with a recent date in the name - from about the time when everything was working well for you.
Launch LightBurn without an active project.
Import the prefs file into LightBurn by clicking File and Import Prefs.
