I’ve read a lot of help articles that are “close” to my problem but not quite. I began with a 400mm x 400mm Ortur LM2pro. I built a new frame that is physically 22 inches x 40 inches (inside measurements). I translated that to mm which is 558.8 mm x 1016 mm. In settings, is that the numbers that I input? since I was not sure I subtracted 100 mm from both X & Y measurements but it will not burn past the original 400 x 400 or so. All of my settings look to be correct. I saw that someone posted about entering something on the console : dollar signs maybe, after those numbers are entered but I can’t find that post…
$130 defines the size of your X axis
$131 Defines your Y axis
Before changing anything I recommend type $$ then enter and copy /paste the output to a text file so you can replicate the original settings if something goes wrong.
The syntax would be $130=558 enter. You should see an Ok message
$131=1016 enter then type $$ enter and verify changes.

I think some of these require a firmware update to change work area size…
Work area will be smaller than the area enclosed by the frame. You’ll need to test and measure the extents of what the laser module can actually reach. Use those numbers in both LB and firmware.
