I purchased an 80W Omtech and it came with a new license of LB for the Ruida controller. There are 3 different dimensions I’m seeing on literature. When I set it up in LB it’s asking for dimensions of the work area. The first I encountered was 20" x 28" (seems most common), but I also see a metric dimension (500x700) which is not the equivalent of 20 x 28, and finally when I look at the specs of the laser it advises 19.5" x 27.5" working area. Seems to me the last one would be correct by the sounds of it but I’m not certain. I want to optimize my settings obviously. Anyone know for certain?
It’s almost certain that the 500x700 are the correct dimensions. Or rather, 700x500 since the bed is wider than tall. These machines are designed in metric.

Most of the world is metric… even our science.
Measurements of a machine in manufactured in a metric country will be metric.
