Workspace window resizing issues

Hello all,
I have just got a new win11 home laptop (16inch) with a screen res of 1920 x 1200. My laser bed size is 500x300mm. Using LB 1.3.01.
I didn’t have this problem with my previous win 10 laptop 1920 x 1080 res.

I cant resize the workspace window to the maximum extents of the vertical space. Seems like the right side windows for cut / layers and laser take up too much width and cant be resized smaller beyond a point. On UN-docking, all the cut / layer / laser windows seem to have different minimum width sizes.

The only option that works is taking the modifier tools dock and placing it horizontally at the top, but that looks messy. All other options lead to the same space issue.

Is there anyway to decrease the width of the cut /layers/laser windows and the modifier dock bar? Or consequently get the maximum extents of the workspace window? Thanks in advance

I’ve read this over a few times and I’m not sure if I understand what the issue is.

Are you expecting to be able to reduce the white space above and below the workspace? If so, I think you may be stuck with what’s there. Your screen ratio has changed from 16:9 to 16:10 and added 120 vertical lines of resolution. That space has to go somewhere. In this case in the white spaces above and below the workspace.

The window panes on the right have a minimum width. If they can’t go any narrower then that’s as much horizontal space as you can recover.

thanks

yes - that’s what i was looking for.

yes, I think I’m stuck with the existing layout.
