Thanks, they are covered in a plastic film that’s used for RC planes, much easier then tissue and painting over.
The converting a curve into a straight line is the problem, when you straighten it, it stays on the same end point when it should stretch out. I was reduced to using the ruler and applying just the numbers per curved section which was ok, not perfect, but good enough for just straight curves, adding the tabs though makes it much more hard to utilize that system.
Taking a step back and being practical at this stage, it’s likely going to be just cutting out the tab or slot on one piece, cutting out an additional piece without them and marking that piece where the connecting tabs are supposed to go to measure.
