Wrong and wierd path when trying round shapes (circle, arc)

Hi!
I’m trying to do make my first laser cuts and I’m really amazed with the straight cuts, but… when I tried to do a circle or an arc the tracing doesn’t make any sense. It becomes in a very wierd shape, kinda of a circle but totally wrong. I append some pictures for you to see.
Does anyone recognize this problem?

An important note here: what also tried and interestingly seems to work… is using the LaserGBRL software… the circle comes out perfect. But obviously I want use Lightburn!

I have experience with 3d printers but this is new, I tried to adjust the tension of the belts just in case, but I think it’s a software related thing.

Gcodes:

LightBurnGCode__Circle.txt (1.6 KB)
LaserGRBL-Gcode__Circle.txt (141 Bytes)

That’s odd. Can you save the gcode in Laser window using a .txt file extension and then post here?

That it is but I don’t know how to solve it! For some reason Lightburn is not doing right the Gcode

Well from looking at the gcode it’s certain that your laser is just following the gcode. The only question then is why does it look like this.

I’ve never seen LightBurn generate bad gcode for any geometry. Can you upload the .lbrn file that was used to generate the gcode. Maybe something in the design that’s throwing things off.

Did you draw the circle with LightBurn or does it come from somewhere else?

I did not saved the file, because it was just a circle made with the draw tool included in LightBurn.
But… I could “solve” the problem! I just downgraded to 1.2.01 and now it’s working fine.

I’m wondering if you had a bad installation. You may want to try installing the latest and trying again. I don’t believe there’s been any released code that fundamentally broke g-code generation in any released version of LightBurn that I’ve seen.

Ok, yes, it is likely, later I will try to install it in new updates, for now first I’m going to try to finish my project in time. Thank you very much for your support, I’ll inform you if any new

Isn’t this the kind of pattern that is generated if you use a pirated version of LightBurn? To me it very much looks like that.
If you think you are using a legal version, I recommend checking the mechanics, especially the small grub screws at the pulleys are sometimes loose at the Sculpfun devices. Check the guide here: Guide to mechanical adjustments and maintenance - Diode Laser Wiki
