Wrong Software! what should I do

We recently purchased the wrong software version and need assistance with an upgrade. Our laser machine uses a Ruida controller, which is only supported in the Pro version of LightBurn. However, we mistakenly purchased the Core license key, which is not compatible.

We are an educational space for youth at risk and are actively using the software for our work, but not for commercial purposes. We previously tried the trial version and found it very useful but were unaware that we needed the Pro version.

Could you please guide us on how to upgrade to the Pro version? If there is a price difference, we are happy to pay the additional amount required.
We appreciate your support and look forward to your assistance.

Best regards,

Yarden Colsey

If you go to the “Buy Software page” and scroll down, the third option is upgrade from Core to Pro for $100 US. The pricing works out the same as if you had bought Pro initially.

These are usually special circumstances, although I’m not a Lightburn employee, you might be wise to send a note to support and include this threads link in the email.

If they know more about what you do, I’m sure they’ll fix you up with the least effort.

Maybe @Rick can help?

Shoot us an email to support@lightburnsoftware.com and reference Colin and this thread, I’ll take a look. Give us the details about your application and organization, if you will.
