I’ve seen the post where the Wyze cam was setup as an IP camera. However, there seems to be some lag with that method. I’m wondering if anyone has setup the Wyze cam as a webcam and used it that way. There shouldn’t be as much lag versus the ip camera method. Wyze has released firmware to make there V2 cams work as webcams.
I’ve tried it for fun, it worked fine and without delay with Wyze`s usb firmware.
The webcam setup is what I’m trialing, I had it configured okay and laser/scanner results where only a few mm out of spec.
I found that the third time using the camera, LB wanted me to go through the full setup with the camera again and tbh I haven’t had the time to do it as I’m doing fine with just the laser.
