X axis dragging along railing

I have a rudia controlled Boss laser and the x-axis seems to be dragging along the railing. It is tough to manually move the laser head along the railing and when I am running a job the x-axis will completely stop moving to where I have to restart the whole machine in order to get movement back.

There is nothing caught on the railing and i am stuck on where to look to try and get this fixed.

It sounds like there might be a serious mechanical issue with that X axis.

Unless someone else can provide a solution.
