I’m having issues with lightburn on my Xtool D1. It seems to be jumping every once and a while and making my images look terrible. Tried cleaning belts and still get same issue. Any help would be great appreciated!!!
Have you tightened them? It looks like it’s slipping a tooth.
I tried that the first time and it still seemed to skip. But while pulling on the machine to tighten the x-axis, I noticed a piece of debris on the silver rail the laser head slides along. That seems to have been the problem. No idea how something got on it (has been sitting on my dining room table while I learn how to use it) but I chipped it off with my fingernail and that seemed to fix the problem! Thanks for the support Jack!
Need to keep the rails and bushings lubricated.
You will find all kinds of stuff in there. Keep an eye on it. Even in storage they seem to accumulate junk.
