I set-up my new OLM2 Pro S2 with the extended work attachment and was checking functions and runs and am having a problem with the move command I set the move X at 200 and Y at 400 to find center, but when commanded to move, X moves to 200 but Y moves to 800 from the home position. If I set X 200 and Y 200 it centers at 200/400. I did type $131=800 in the console but it still does the same thing. When setting up LB it set the system to GRBL-LPC, I’m using a Macbook Pro running Ventura. TIA fro any assistance correcting this issue.
This needs to be GRBL so go ahead and make that change by pushing Devices button in Laser window, then editing your device.
Do you mean to say that the controller reports Y position of 800 or are you saying that the laser head moves to the very top of the frame?
Please provide the following:
- confirm that you changed work area in Device Settings
- run these commands in Console and return output:
$I
$$
$#
?
``
3. confirm expected area of the laser with extension
K I will change to GRBL
When I set Y move to 400 the laser head moves to the very top of the frame

ok
Did you change this intentionally? This is almost certainly the cause of your issue. Change this to $101=80.
I’d also suggest you upgrade your firmware but shouldn’t be strictly necessary to fix this particular issue.
Once you make the change, rehome and retest.
No I did not change anything other then $131=800 I will change that now and retry. Are you referring to the OLM firmware?
Thank you that fixed the issue
Yes. I believe they’re up to 190 on your unit and are typically important to update for Ortur units.
Yes just confirmed 1.9 update I will take care of that again thanks for you time and help
