X, Y readings with xTool S1

Hi,

I have been using Lightburn for many years on an Emblaser but recently got an xTool S1.

I have noticed however a slight anomaly which I am trying to figure out. If the laser head is at 0,0 and I hit the move Y by 10mm it doesn’t show 10 in the Y setting (it shows 9.78). Furthermore when I moved X by 10, X doesn’t show to move 10 (9.89) either AND the Y setting changes at the same time (goes to 9.92).

Moving back 10mm doesn’t go back to 0,0 either. This happens with both the xTool and ClackShack config files.

Has anyone come across anything like this?

It’s a bit strange, if the steps don’t match it should go back the same distance anyway - to its starting position 0:0.
What is the size of a cut 100x100mm square?

I ran a 100mm square and it came out as 100mm, spot on.
