X y z sequence?

i have all my axis set to home on start up in the 6445 controller. My question is z always homes first is there a way to home it last this way x and y would go first then z. The problem i have is I have to put a hard surface under the probe if i shut down in the middle somewhere. i am using the probe as my upper limit. If it would home last there is a hard plate in that corner just for that.

You’re better off not setting Z to home on startup, and just clicking the ‘Focus’ button once it’s running, which does the same thing.

I tried that with the z home off then tried to hit focus and it would not move. Until i turned home back on.
