Xtool 10W LASER PWM Signal

Does anyone have technical data on the LASER head? I’m trying to find info specifically on the PWM signal, i.e. voltage, Min-Max PW, Frequency…

You need to go to the xTool site for your specific module.

I can’t find anything on the discontinued module, however, I have used a number of these.

There are only three lines needed, Ground, Power and PWM. The pwm turns the module on/off and are usually set up for a ttl level signal or 0 to 5V. Period is usually around 1mS (1kHz).

Many of these have the pwm driving an optical isolator and allow the inputs to up above 24V, but the specification is ttl compatible. It should swing to 5V level, but many detect a logical high over about 3V.

Some have temperature pins … mine does they claim to explain how to implement it… Notice their technical description of the temperature pin.

I have a NEJE 40630 module, they have a wiki on it that gives the modules specifications.

Might check for a wiki on your specific module. This is all I’ve found.

:smiley_cat:

Yeah, I tried connecting a sig gen to the PWM input using a TTL level pulse and varied the frequency and duty cycle but nothing showed. The IR, (crosshairs) worked. Unfortunately Xtool won’t release any technical details. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Perhaps the module is toast.
Cheers.

the crosshairs is a normal red led, you would not see ir :slight_smile:

No kidding? The contact pin is labeled “IR”.

IR = Is Red.

Not “Infinite Resources”?
