Does any one know where to get any of the above subject cables in longer lengths than the originals? Due to limited shop space, I could use one about six feet longer than the factory supplied original.

Are you talking usb? How long is the factory supplied?
Generally they limit the length of usb to 3 meters. To be sure, you’d need to know what version of usb it is… 1, 2, 3…
3, 5, and 30 meters. Most likely USB-2. Need a shielded cable to get these distances.
Uh, the real USB length spec is way shorter than the cables available from the usual suspects:
Given the sketchy nature of most cheap cables, even short cables likely don’t meet other parts of the USB spec, as we see with all the communication errors using OEM-supplied USB cables.
Active cables are probably the only way to go beyond the official spec.

The USB cable that came with my xTool D1 PRO is a prime example of just that, it just didn’t work reliably.
And it didn’t even cross my mind that the cable could be the culprit (one of them 
) until I thought “what if…”.
The one I have now is 1.5m (~5’), 3m (~10’) might work, anything longer than that:
might indeed be the only -or at least the best- solution.
Easy to try different cable lengths though, it either works or doesn’t 
Where to get them in Your neck of woods, I don’t know.
Mine are just market variety general cables, nothing fancy.

I had exactly the same experience with my D1 Pro - random and frequent disconnections. I now have a decent quality usb cable and I fitted an extra ferrite bead at the machine end because of the close proximity to the power socket. Since then I have had no trouble.
The cable that came with my S30 Pro is 5’ long and appears to be braid shielded. I extended it with a 6’ shielded cable. Everything is about 4’ from a cycling dehumidifier. No glitches detected in 1 hr+ burns. Cheaper than a powered (active) hub.
I have not had any issues pushing cable length to 25’ or 10m at times without active cables. For this style connection and project I would not push it much farther than this. Here are a few choices of cables.
Thanks for all the replies on the extended length cable I need for the Xtool D1 Pro to the USB 2.0 connection on the PC. Yes my factory cable length is about 3 foot long. I would be comfortable with one about 10 feet. Like I said, this is all because available space in the garage. I appreciate all the replies given, and I will look into the links you have sent me.
