xTool S1 gantry sticking on first use

I’ll start this by apologizing. I already posted this once and someone replied asking for some screenshots but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get the problem to recreate itself until today. I grabbed the screenshots but when I went to update the post, it had closed 15 hours prior so I wasn’t able to add to it. Below is my original post and this time I’ve added the screenshots. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello all. Fairly new to lasers. I’ve been using Lightburn on my S1 for about 2 months now and I love it. However, I seem to be having a strange issue where my laser module will get stuck on the very first operation after turning on the laser. It will frame out fine and then when I go to process the actual job, it will start and then the gantry will just stop moving with the laser still firing. It will stay like this for a few seconds and then it will shut off and the job stops. Every time this has happened, all I have to do is shut the laser off, wait 30 seconds and turn it back on. I can then refocus and run the job without issue. This only happens when using the S1 in Lightburn. I also run XCS at times and have never had this issue. I’m on 1.7.04 and the latest firmware version from xTool. I will say this has been happening since I was on 1.7.0 and through a few firmware updates from xTool. Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated.

I have seen this a few times… if you, have xcs running, or xcs was running and still had an api running in the background . What I have found to fix this. Is not have xcs running, reboot computer, load lightburn first, then turn on laser. Also ensure you are using latest firmware in laser and latest lightburn version.

Thank you for the reply, Brian. When this occurred yesterday, it was after a fresh boot up of my laptop and I never opened XCS. I went straight to LB, created my designs and started the run.
