My new xtool s1 only runs at 100% power regardless of the setting i select. It does the same when running materials test through the menu in lightburn or just trying to run a project. I dont have the same issue when using the x tool software.

Did you follow the Lightburn setup instructions for a dpssl (diode) laser?
How do you know it’s 100% and not something else?
Yes i set up correctly for diode ive been using lightburn with my d1 pro with no issues for about 2 years now. Pretty sure its 100% based on comparing when i use xcs i did a test burn set at 10% with 3mm plywood. With xcs has a nice engrave with lightburn same power and speed burned all the way through the board.
Since it works with the supplied software, it would appear to be some kind of software setting in Lightburn.
Do you know if xTool has an .lbset configuration file for Lightburn?
Both should generate a 50% pwm wave when the layer is set to 50%. The only thing I know of is the $30 and S Value Max. They should be the same. Can you double check that?
What is your $30 value?
