I updated Light Burn and now when I go to engrave something, the laser just cuts a line. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but, seem to do the same thing. I do run Xtool software too and that works fine. Rather use light Burn as I more familiar with it and has better image settings. Not seeing the load preference
Try loading a prefs backup file from when it worked.
Is it a Dev file or a GRBL? What is the best way to move the file to a different machine? I believe I have a second PC that works. All I am seeing on the problem machine are GCODE and GRBL, Both say Xtool. Thanks so much!
You can create a bundle in the working one.
Then import into the non working one.
Thank you, seemed to work but, when I go to try to engrave an image, it says I have cut selected graphic on. I have the speed at 140 and power at 10…I did a start and it did a small section, very deep and obviously high power. Not sure where this setting is, I am used to picking a layer color and changing speed and power.
Okay, I tried it on the older pc and it looked like it was engaving the image I put up but, was doing it at 100% power. yikes! I got something wrong. I had the speed at 140 and the power at 35, set to passthru.

I did go in and update XCS and reloaded the firmware…re uploaded a config file…See what happens when the sun comes up.
