Hi all,
Sometimes when I need to move X/Y axis manually, the steppers motors are fixed and I need to push a little bit to be able to move axis. But I don’t need to damage my machine. Is there a configuration missed on my Lightburn XTool profile machine or other thing ?
Thank you for your help

Do not ever do that, because the controller cannot track the laser head location when you shove it around by hand.
Instead, always use the jog controls in the Move window:
Small steps let you position the laser head very precisely and the controller will always know where the head is.

If you home the machine manually you will have to turn off the power move it to home and restart machine.

The S1 has encoders on the axis, I believe @JoeSpanier you had great luck using the S1 with Print and cut manually, right? Any advice here?

That’s definitely not obvious from their description .

Typically I just wait a few more seconds. They disengage after a short time.
The closed loop motors are probably my favorite part of that machine
