The Y-axis is underscaled: the machine thinks it traveled 50mm, but physically it only advanced 30mm. How do I fix this?
First, check if you have inadvertantly left Rotary Mode enabled as that is a common cause for Y-axis scale issues.
If that is not the problem, then have a look at our documentation here:
You would need to go to Laser Tools>Machine Settings>Calibrate Axis>Y>
then enter:
Requested Distance = 50
Actual Distance = 30
and ‘Write’
Another way to check and change the scale setting is to go to the Console Window, and enter “$$” and read the response from your machine to see what $100 and $101 are (X and Y-axis travel resolution in steps/mm)
Enter $101=(new value) to change it manually (perhaps $101 is set to 80 when it should be 133.33?).
