You likely have Origin set incorrectly in Edit->Device Settings. If only Y is backwards then move origin from it’s current position to the opposite vertical position. So if it’s currently top-left, move to bottom-left and vice versa.

that did help with it moving on the correct access but im still have issues where y values are wanting to start from -y and causes a hard limit trigger

after second checking my origin was correct before being at the top left and thats the same as where my home location is i tried each position and none of them aligne without x or y going the wrong way

Can you provide the following:

  1. Full screenshot of LightBurn with Laser window in view
  2. Can you confirm that jogging controls all work in correct direction now
  3. To which corner does your machine home? I want to confirm that it’s actually homing top-left
  4. Run these commands in Console and return the full output:

Interesting. Have you made any modification to this machine? And are you very confident that you have assembled it correctly? Either your machine was misconfigured from factory or something isn’t installed correctly.

Also, are you absolutely certain that nothing happened when with the G0 X10?

Does your machine automatically home when turned on or only when pushing the Home button?

im sorry x10 did move im defiantly not %100 sure i installed everything correctly but I’ve checked any all wires have one way they can be inserted it the board from my understanding was the same ie i cant flip the axis with the laser on it because it would prevent it from hitting the limiter switches
my next step is im gona rewatch my installation video i guess but what would be my options if it was a factory misconfiguration

edit: or what should i be looking for in the wiring that could be changed on the x axis
second edit only when i press the home button dose it move to home not when i turn on the the board

Okay. That’s comforting.

To confirm the connectors are all keyed?

It’s not entirely unheard of for machines to come incorrectly configured from the factory but it’s a little unusual.

Do this please:

  1. In Console enter these commands:
$3=7
$23=7

$3=7 will invert the Y direction. $23=7 then inverts Y homing direction so that it continues to home in the correct direction.
2. Home machine
3. Test jogging controls. Do they all work correctly?

yes that worked thank you so much i knew it was (or thought) the $3 value from other forums but none of the number shown were correct for my board
