Y axis not corresponding

hi, after installing the rotary system on my Sculpfun S9 and having tested it with excellent results, reusing the machine to cut the material I noticed a change in the X and Y axis excursions; I have correctly recalibrated the X axis while I have problems with the Y axis as I have not accepted the recalibration with Lightburn.

ok

If you have a standard S9, then your values are quite off right now. $100 and $101 should be 80. You can set this by sending $100=80 and $101=80 in the console window. Have a look at this page for reference values (bottom of the page): Firmware Update & Settings - Diode Laser Wiki

If you are using a rotary, you should not touch the x-axis setting, this remains at 80. Only the y-axis might change, as long as you don’t use the Sculpfun rotary. In this case, you don’t change any parameters in the firmware. (Small exception: I recommend lowering the y-axis acceleration to 100 to avoid strong slipping). The rest of configuration is done in the rotary wizard of LightBurn, not in the firmware. Maybe see here as well: Rotary roller - Diode Laser Wiki

Thanks a lot for helpfull support!

Before changing ‘things’ on any computer, make a backup of the original. Edit → Machine settings will allow you to load, save, read and write to the controller. So you should have saved them before the modifications to the machine. Then you can save a different file for rotary setting. It’s easy to go back and forth…

Doing this will also carry the information if you slow down any of the axes… I do this quite bit.

You should save it now… then look at File → Load Prefs Backup might have a good copy there…

Good luck

Thanks for the great advice, I proceeded to do it immediately after I restored everything

Certainly and I apologize for the delay in answering;
the seller kindly sent me a new motherboard, even if it was an older spare version, and the machine started working again.
