Hi all,
i’m working with Lightburn 2.2 and Ortur LM2Pro extended (800x400).
Because of the extension i have the Ortur table 90° turned on my desk, so i have checked the Swap X/Y option in Basic Settings of Lightburn, and i have a 800mm X axis and 400mm Y axis with homing at top left and all works fine.
But putting the YRR2.0 Rotary Roller it seems that the “Y Axis” setting of the rotary setup page of Lightburn doesn’t know or doesn’t take that i have swapped X/Y and tries to move the laser on my Y axis (that is the original 400mm X axis) for more than 400mm.
Has anyone else encountered this problem, or does anyone know how to solve it?
Now your Xaxis is the gantry and the Yaxis is the trolley. Right?
Did you connect the rotary to the motor that moves the trolley?
I suspect you do not have a 400mm or 800mm rotary. For rotary work, why not plug the rotary into the Yaxis motor lead and turn off the Swap X/Y switch?
I don’t think that should pose a problem. You should turn the rotary 90 degrees as well and use the former x-axis for movements, since that is better for precision and speed.
