I noticed this has been an issue throughout me testing various versions that Z-Probe Depth settings do nothing and you must add it to the Z probe offset to get it to work. Is this a Bug or is this how you expect it to work? The only reason I have remembered this is because I had to re-add it to the Retail Version as it does not import the settings.
I also had to re- add all my preset locations which weren’t an option to import and I don’t know if this is just me (But adding incase someone else has same problem) when I tested them they didn’t do anything until I flicked the Jog Switch on and off then it just started working? The Beta version did not have this problem
Z Depth is how far down the side of the block the bit will move during the probing of the X and Y direction.
Z Offset is how you set the probe block thickness.
I don’t understand your preset position question. Can you make a screen capture showing what’s wrong. I suspect it’s working as expected and you are expecting something different, which is understandable. Those functions changed quite a bit during the RC process.
