New to lasers as of late 2022. Bought a very lightly used K40 off Craigslist for a very reasonable price. Quickly added a Milliamp Scale, a Honeycomb Bed, some internal LED lighting, a new focus-able laser head, upgraded temperature gauges, and a Camera. I very soon realized the limitation of the M2 Nano board and installed the Omtech Smoothie board instead. That brought me into the wonderful world of LightBurn.

I also just upgraded to a 24x16 Monport 60W as I had found the limitations of the 300x200 K40 bed. [My Monport Adventure is here] I only do this for a hobby, but I’d like to market and sell enough product to pay for this latest laser machine.

I have some ideas on that.
