I can’t find the S-Max setting. Its not on the machine setting page.
When I go to the console screen and type $$, I get nothing. I have manually typed $32=1000, $30=0. Still get nothing when I type $$.
I tried to attach a pic of machine settings page. What am I missing? Any help is appreciated.

If you selected XTool as your device type, then lightburn likely already knows the S-Max, thus it does not give you the option. Also, XTool locks down their settings, so it likely rejects the $$
commands as well.

Mind making a small project, then clicking ‘save gcode’ and uploading it?

I feel like my issue is related since you’re mentioning the power being off:
I ran a material test in 1.6.03 and in the latest beta that I could find 1.7 Beta 10. The engrave actually looks better in 1.7 but the line test doesn’t seem to be respecting power levels

Bottom is obvi 1.6 with the triangles. Text as line at 60mm/s @ 17.5 power for both, but the top (1.7) is just scorched. On the back side all the corners are pinpricked through the material (3mm BB)

I’ve set it up as an XTools device, with all the settings recommended in other forum…
