Hello I need some help I gave lightburn and a atezr L2 36 watt well I downloaded a 3D image and trying to make it work but does not come out right can anyone give me the settings for lightburn to try and use the 3 D image I have is a bald eagle in front of the flag need settings for adjust image and in cut settings thanks also I am new to diode laser engraving
[1] Lightburn is not a 3D package, it is 2.5D at best.
[2] True 3D with a laser is extremely difficult. A laser is a controlled(?) burn.
[3] I doubt your laser is a true 3D machine. GRBL is only capable of 2.5D. This means X/Y, then Z, then another X/Y, then another Z, and so on.
[4] You did not mention the file type you imported for the project.
This does not mean give up. There is some impressive 3D-looking work out there. Maybe upload the Lightburn project file so we can see what you have so far.
Ok I got the image off of Etsy and it’s a 3D illusion file
If it’s actually a 2d attempting to imitate 3d as an illusion, you might be able to do that or something similar.

I should have added, what is the file extension?
