I just received a 40w laser and I’m trying to cut a file in light burn at 100% power. I verified that the settings are right in the manual. But I only can get it to cut at 12 mA. When I hit the laser test button it fires at 25mA. So is it a setting in my light burn and I just don’t know about it or is it something else. Please help. Thank you
Is this on a Monport laser? If so, there have been a number of boards shipped with essentially a design flaw that prevents full power access.
There have been a number of reports on the forum with the same symptoms.
