That is really bad man.I bought HS-FL30 30W Fiber Laser Marking machine from HeatSign,i paid just few days before i read your article and was little bit worry but things go very well for my luck and didn’t have that problem, something that i can not say for a friend of mine who has really big problems with transport of his laser cutter.
Up Date
The Laser arrived with out a scratch, Passed Customs in less then a day and got the final bill about a week ago. No unexpected expenses and just a bit over what I guestimated,
You dodged a bullet,I’m still fighting with the Chinese insurance company. They only want to pay 50 cents on the dollar.
Worst then haggling at a Middle Eastern Bazzar during Open tourist season.
Glad you didnt have to deal with the crap we went through and are still going through
How much was your Trump Chinese Import tax bill?
Man that sucks,
Import ins from China is about the same as there warrantee I guess which is really non-existent
Mine was 28.5% of the value of the laser.

Have you been able to get lightburn to find both lasers? I can’t get my second laser to run from lightburn
What kind of controller is in it? From the same PC, or a different one?
So did the frame slop error appear when you tried to send a file? Is that the issue you’re having, or is LightBurn not able to talk to the controller at all? The more detail you can give, the easier it is for us to help. Saying, “it doesn’t work” gives very little to go on.
Sorry I explained it in my own post but didnt get a response. Frame slop error yes. It shows the work bed as 500x600 when it should be 1000x600.
Greetings fellow laser tamers.
Some time has passed since I wrote about our Chinese laser import.
Still not up and running. We bought our Lightburn software, our Lightburn camera and everything we need to get going however the insurance company owes us $3300 needed to buy damaged laser tubes and are at a stand still.
With all the crap going on in the world now, the fires
In the Pacific Northwest there is enough to make one go insane.
I wish I could jump on a pane and grab the Insurance company by their shirt collars.
We are still waiting for the Chinese insurance company to pay up. After they put us through hell and back to prove to them that the machine was damaged they agreed to pay 75% of what we needed . Nevertheless in the interest of moving forward we agreed.
That was almost two months ago.
They are dragging their feet, stopped answering emails and are taking the path of ignoring us. We are attempting to go to Alibaba Protection and see what can be done . It’s a Catch-22 . We are protected against the seller taking advantage of us not the Insurance company however we are hopeful that maybe Alibaba will step in.
Buy American has never sounded better. It takes this kind of experience to realize that having the ability to reach a company representative in US is worth the machines weight in gold.

Or buy a Chinese laser already in the US!
A warehouse in USA would have help nevertheless the main question we all need to ask … what price is someone willing to pay to make “this BS” be somebody else’s headache. The cost difference for us is $20K PLUS so I guess in the real world the $$$ always makes the rules .
We will lick our wounds and smile later but now we are just whimpering.
Cheers
Sas
Welcome back and … damn annoying to read.
I expected you to be happily lasering for a while now.
