ALARM:9 Homing fail. etc etc

Hi, I have the Ortur laser master 2 for 2 days now and all I get is this error. You have to be a pro to understand the usermanual. All I have is a thin line. Played videos from you tube in slow motion. What am I doing wrong?

Homing fail. Could not find limit switch within search distance. Defined as 1.5 * max_travel on search and 5 * pulloff on locate phases.

Does you machine home?

Some do not and if you send a home command to it, it can’t find the no existent limit switches and gives you this error…

If it not supposed to home … in Lightburn go to device settings and disable ‘auto home at startup’.

It should still be able to move around, it just doesn’t know where it is…

Check out Lightburn grbl setup…

This is a similar or maybe the same problem…

Thank you for answering. This morning the machine didn’t move at all. And again it tooke me hours to solve the problem. And surprise home is working.
