We don’t scold here, it wasn’t the intent. We are here to help you and getting off on the wrong foot isn’t helpful, so I apologize… if I offended you.
I advised you they’d probably move it for you and I answered the question best I could without more information …
Looks like a very nice machine… I assume it comes from the factory where it will home during power up.
When the machine home, it will trip some kind of sensor, usually a switch.
It’s claiming it can’t find the home switches… so the first thing you need to do is determine if there are switches and see if they are activating or if there is a bad connection on their cable or connectors.
Can you visually see the switches?
If you manually place the head in the center of the machine does it go to it’s home location on boot?
I don’t know much about this laser but the missing letters in the wake up message may indicate communication concerns. We can expect these to get worse with larger projects.
Lowering the serial communication or Baud rate in the lower right corner of the Device Settings window may help.
Directly after the Grbl 1.1h (a guess on my part) I’m expecting to see some build options for your engraver. The information is garbled and I can’t tell if your engraver is optioned for homing or if we should shut off that command in LightBurn.
For now, you can switch off ‘Auto home on start up’ in LightBurn under Device settings.
