I have a new Longer B1 40w. I am getting Alarm2 on or near line 0. I have no clue where to find settings and dont want to randomly change things.

That didn’t fix my problem. Only made it half way through as the material referenced for support is outdated and not the current version offered.
Bought Lightburn instead of the trail version. now my old d1 wont work now either. Great product.
Can you be more specific, I’m not sure what you mean.
We need more information to determine what’s going wrong. Are you using settings recommended by your laser manufacturer? It could be the settings you’re using like in this forum post.
Your manual states this to get rid of alarm 2:
Do you mean the D1 from xtool?
If so, you must follow the laser manufacturer’s instructions:

The link you referenced is an outdated version. The details in the link you sent is outdated and does not reflect what the current version shows. Also, the second link sent is not for the 40w as it is not listed, nor did it remedy this problem.
I have two machines. Neither one work since purchasing the full version. trial version worked on D1 and sumwhat on B1. Now neither move from home.
Are your LB work area peramiters/dimensions and Firmware settings in agreement.
Are your origin settings as they should be.
Can you post your LB settings screenshots and input $$ in console window and copy/paste here.
Do you fully undersand Error 2
I looked for & through older conversations that mentioned something similar and that might help, and found one by “mamakitty”…type that name in searchbox and see if it helps.
