All of the file wants to fill

I am trying to engrave this with the blue layer filling all the color except stars, stripes and text but it wants to fill the entire image how do i stop this and tell it to avoid them areas

Try this and it will give you an idea how the fill logic works:

Select all (Ctrl-A) and duplicate your project (Ctrl-D). Now move this off to the side to experiment with.

Select all of the components of your flag and change everything to layer 01. Then preview. Now start there and see where that takes you.

From the information / picture provided, it appears you have made the design with multiple fill layers. For example, take this design: [image] [image] To correct this is to understand the logic on a fill layer. I need to put the text on the same layer: [image] [image]
