All parameters seem to be off within

Everything seems to be off, accept within the matertial test. The laser frames and once I lowered the “Overscanning”, which has never been a problem before, the job starts. Except now it is not firing the laser and eventually the machine stops itself.

When I grab a scrap material and run a material test on it, everything runs smooth. The “Overscan” is set to 3.0 and everything else checks out. I go back and go over all my settings again, have to have “Overscan” at .5 in order to not have it trying to run off the work zone.

I am confused and stuck… I have the most recent updates for everything.

Any direction will help. Thank you in advance.

If this is .5%, then look at the actual mm value. Very high speeds will cause excessive travel at the ends.

How does it look when you turn on Show traversal moves in the Preview window? Does it cross over that green line in Preview?

Yes, with the original 3.5%, it did. Thank you for that understanding.

Now about the rest of it? There seems to be something else off that is making the laser not fire when starting the project? It fires just fine when running material test, yet not on the project?

In this posting, you tell @thelmuth is working.

Did slowing it down cure this “laser not fire” issue?
