I just tried to do this and it happened…I’m trying so hard not to give up
@LightBurn are the settings in the move tab correct? I am supposed to put the same stuff there?! For distance, speed and Z-speed?
The ‘Move’ tab is only used when jogging around with the machine, not when running a job. It looks like your machine is losing steps and skipping. Try running 800 mm/min for everything and see if that behaves better. The problem is very likely just trying to go too fast with a machine that’s really not meant to.
@LightBurn i have noticed that went i gone to the settings tab, it was set on inches/ mm/min. Should it be mm/min or inches min.
That’s a preference as much as anything else. If you like to work in inches, you can have the speeds in inches too. Most diode users exchange speeds in mm/min, so it might be easier for you to share settings with others if yours are set that way too.
