I posted about this awhile ago, as well I see other posts about Omtech galvo quick calibration not working as expected.
Now I have a new lens I would like to calibrate, but run into the same issue again.
When using the galvo quick calibration routine, the Omtech galvos always just draw the calibration square at the max extents of the galvo range. It doesn’t matter what size working area is specified or the scale of the calibration square, the square is just drawn with lines of length that are the max of the machine.
This means that the number measurements don’t mean anything and the calibration calculations are incorrect.
