I have a 30 W JPT source fiber laser and absolutely love what it will do. Raycus source seems to be the one most people get (probably because they’re a bit cheaper) but a JPT source offers a greater range of frequencies allowing different finishes. I mostly do brass and stainless steel items. If I could have afforded more I would have gotten a 50 watt but the 30 handles most of what I do satisfactorily, a 50 would do it faster though. … I’m sure looking forward to being able to use lightburn with it. The EZCad software is somewhat problematic at times. Anyone considering buying a fiber laser should definitely go through Alibaba with a representative from one of the Chinese manufacturers not through ebay or Amazon.
