Atomstack R1 Chuck has mind of its own. (setting start position)

Hello I have a Atomstack A5 with a tinybee controller flashed with fluidCNC.

I am having issues trying to use my Atomstack R1 chuck (I have never got this set up proper yet)
I am running it off the z axis and in rotary setup I have the chuck selected I have been told to use 160mm/per rotation and set the object diameter or circumference to the right size.
I do this and hit test and it goes 1 full revolution around (mark to mark).

I mark the center of the “box” I want to engrave in on the item and line up laser. I have tried start from current position and I selected the center left position since I am lined up at the top center of the engraving space.
When I frame or send the job. it wants to rotate the item roughly a quarter turn and engraves there.
If I select start from user origin it does same thing.
Super frustrating.
If I engrave a 20mmx20mm box it comes out the right size just in the wrong spot… so the rotary setup must be right?
This is not good if the item has a handle it crashes into the laser or the table.

Any ideas?

Show your LightBurn screen. You should select „cut selected graphics only“ and take care of the green square showing the project origin.

Thank you.. That is my issue. I am very new to the rotary. I NOW see the green dot and I just tried again and it was in right place. everything lined up right.
But there are times that the green dot follows the wrong item. Example is when I have moved a item of of the grid but the green dot follows it even if that layer is selected to not output. I also have tried the cut selected graphic but it still thinks the start point is off grid
How do I get it to follow the selected graphic only?

In addition to cut selected graphics, enable the use selection origin switch. That will keep the origin constrained to your selected item(s).

Yes, sorry, I forgot to mention the second option. Those two are my standard setup, I nearly never change it
