Aufero Laser 1 disconnected

Hi! I have a strange behaviour. I run the latest version of Lightburn on macOS (Big Sur). I connected the Aufero Laser 1 with my macbook with an usb c adapter and the usb cable.

When I added the device with the “find device” feature, it was found. But now it is shown as “disconnected” in the lightburn software.

I am completely new to this software and laser engraving equipment, so it might be a newbie problem.

I have attached a screenshot. What could I try to get the laser running?

There’s an issue with Mac and Big Sur, you can search the forum for it but here’s one.

I read that topic too, but the solution there was the ethernet port. But the aufero laser 1 has no ethernet port. :frowning:
