Avoiding Offset Fill scorch marks

Just playing with the offset fill setting and I can see it being very useful. My ownly problem is the scorch marks that occur when the laser stops to move over to the next line. I’ve played with min/max power but it doesn’t seem to make any difference. C02 80watt ruida

There’s a few settings to take into consideration to tune the motion control and laser output ramping:

And (if I’m not confusing the motion control settings / layer settings on my CNC spindle) there might also be a configuration for lead in / lead out (overlapping). I’m not at my computer right now, so don’t take this at 100%.

Thanks Stroonzo, very helpful, I will have a play later.
