I think I found a bug in framing. The functionality of the rubberband frame and the square frame are reversed.
You mean square rubber bands and rubber band squares? I installed 1.5.01 yesterday and used both framing buttons about an hour ago. I saw no reversal of the buttons.
Could you by chance show a video (you might need to upload to YouTube or similar) of the issue?
I found a strange thing in the new update.
I have saved house number template files.
X street X number just for a quick edit option.
All letters are set to alight X: right.
Previously when I edited the text it worked well. Keep the right corner of the last letter.
But now It goes left and right too…
So I need to manually move back to the good position.
Why is it good? How can I change back?
This is likely related to the known HSpace issue.
I haven’t heard any news yet on what’s happening with it.
A report has been generated and further investigation is underway. I will add this for additional context. Thank you.
Update: We’ve have a fix for the issue with text not using the proper alignment when HSpace is non-zero. Fix will be in 1.6, at a minimum.
If willing, we have a patch release coming you can access, currently in our beta folder.
- Bugfix: HSpace wasn’t being included in new font advance code
