Looking for a good way to burn (engrave) everything outside of text/logo for a client

Best to start with understand how LightBurn used boundaries to define the area to be filled.

How do I invert (negate) a vector engraving?

If you want to invert a vector engraving (Fill layer) you need to add an outline to it. Think about what happens when you scan a circle, compared to the letter ‘O’. The inner ring of the O toggles the fill. Try to make a fill but it is not what i like to have

Hello, I try to make a frontplate for a power unit. I like to do this as a scan (Fill) It has to do al of the black lines and the red lines must be cut out. But all i get are black areas and not only the lines. What do i wrong?? Johan [image] [image]
