Camera miss alignment

I have an Atomstack A70 pro, with an Atomstack AC2 camera installed. Running Windows 11 and Lightburn 2.0.2.

I have run the camera alignment 8 times now, but still have a bias of around 5mm. Can I correct this using the offsett option?

Not really. If you have to set an offset, then the calibration was not correct. Are you aware that the object height may not change from calibration to actual work?

No i didn’t, but for this calibration everything was at the same height. I will just have to do a sample and re align before using.

In general, the camera is a nice gadget but not really necessary. Most manual methods are way faster and more precise. If it’s not working well, ignore it

Question about that. If the height of the material can not change, does that mean you have to recalibrate for every change in thickness? I seem to remember seeing videos where you could calibrate at a given thickness then save that calibration file so it could be reloaded. I don’t see that feature in the current version.

Yes, you have to calibrate it for every height you need. There is no direct way to switch calibrations, but you can save the current calibration and add the height to the filename, such that you can load the correct one for every job.
