Camera Overlay Does Not Match Actual Engraving (OMTech 80W + Ruida + LightBurn 2.1.03**
Machine: OMTech 80W CO₂ laser with Ruida controller
Software: LightBurn Pro 2.1.03
Issue: My overhead camera overlay does not match where the laser actually engraves. I completed lens calibration and workspace alignment multiple times. I corrected the camera orientation (it was initially upside down), and the overlay is much closer now, but it is still offset. For example, if I place a rectangle in the center of a larger engraved square on the camera overlay, the laser engraves the rectangle several millimeters below where it appears on the screen. Adjusting X Shift and Y Shift improves it but does not make it accurate across the workspace.
In addition, after making adjustments, the Frame function sometimes stops responding, and at times Home and Start also stop responding until I restart LightBurn and/or the machine.
I need the camera overlay to be accurate because I engrave custom plaques and need precise placement. I’m trying to determine whether this is a camera calibration issue, a LightBurn 2.1.03 issue, a Ruida communication issue, or a machine profile If it worked correctly on the previous version of LightBurn and the problem only started after updating to 2.1.03
