Can I use Y and a rotary axis instead of of X + rotary axis?

Hi,

I usually use X and A as the rotation axes.

So the chuck is in the same direction as my X axis.

But I have more room in the Y axis direction so I could use larger materials that way.

If I could select the Y and A axis for rotation it would work IMHO - but I can’t find any settings.
Is this possible somehow?

Check if this topic helps.

Change your scan angle from 00 degrees to 90 degrees. I get much better rotary results with this direction that I do with x axis.

That works - great !

I was looking for an option in the rotary setup dialog, did not expect to find something in the general setup
